I'm Ryan McClure, designer and maker at Doxa Made, where I build solid hardwood furniture meant to last for generations. Every piece is joined and finished using techniques chosen specifically for its design and use.
No production line, no outsourcing — just one craftsman shepherding your piece from first sketch to final finish. I limit how many commissions I take on at once so each one gets real attention.
How a commission works
Design & quote
Tell me about the desired piece, materials, and dimensions. I'll send a price and a lead time before anything begins. Lead times average 6-8 weeks.
Built to order
With a deposit, I source the lumber and build your piece by hand. You'll get progress photos along the way.
Delivered
Finished, inspected, and hand-delivered locally in San Diego.
