The maker
I build furniture the slow way — solid hardwood joined with traditional mortise-and-tenon and hand-cut drawers, not screws and shortcuts. It takes longer, but it's the difference between a piece you replace in five years and one your children inherit.
Every piece is drawn, milled, cut, and finished by hand in my shop in North County San Diego. I work in walnut, white oak, and other domestic hardwoods, and I take a small number of commissions at a time so each one gets the attention it deserves.
I'd rather make one honest thing well than a dozen in a hurry. That's the whole idea behind the name.

Design & quote
Tell me the piece, the wood, and the dimensions. I'll send a price and an honest lead time before anything begins.
Built to order
With a deposit, I source the lumber and build your piece by hand. You'll get progress photos along the way.
Delivered
Finished, inspected, and hand-delivered locally in San Diego. Crated and shipped for clients farther out.
